Our client is a well-established, family-operated Engineering firm renowned for delivering high-quality design, fabrication, installation and maintenance services. They provides full end-to-end solutions servicing the water infrastructure, road/rail, government, energy and defence sectors throughout South East Queensland. Due to new contracts being awarded, they are looking to expand their growing team, and are seeking Trade Qualified Boilermakers and Mechanical Trade Assistants . Your New Role: Working with a variety of metals including aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel & heavy structural – MIG / TIG welding ( Boilermakers ) Assisting tradesmen with a variety of welding techniques, machine operating and general 'on the tools' work ( Trade Assistants ) Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings and specifications Working both independently and in a team environment Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship What We’re Looking For: Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent ( Boilermakers ) Experience with a variety of metals & welding techniques Strong work ethic and reliability Proven experience with references to back up your ability Site installation / maintenance experience is a bonus Manual Driver’s License, EWP, Confined Spaces or Forklift (desirable but not essential) What We Offer: Competitive rates penalties Regular overtime (10hr days Saturdays where required) Workshop AND/OR Site based work Weekly pay A variety of work Casual to Permanent opportunity On-going consistent work Great company culture Career progression, career advancement and upskilling Work with industry leaders A supportive team environment with room for growth Work close to home If you’re a dedicated and skilled Boilermaker looking to join a dynamic team in a growing company, then click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume.
