Scope of Work As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the repair, servicing, and maintenance of a diverse fleet, including: Heavy Commercials Earthmoving and Agricultural Equipment Light Fleet Vehicles Crushing Plants and Ancillary Equipment Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and resolve issues in machinery and vehicle systems (electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic). Perform dismantling and rebuilding of engines, transmissions, differentials, and final drives. Use diagnostic tools to interpret test results and ensure precision. Conduct scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the team to maintain workshop standards and ensure compliance with Australian regulations. Operate service information systems and contribute to spare parts ordering. Participate in the team’s commitment to workplace safety and ongoing improvement. Qualifications & Skills: Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic. Current open driver’s license. Proficiency in dismantling and rebuilding mechanical components. Familiarity with on-board diagnostic systems and modern workshop tools. Ability to interpret technical manuals and software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
