Job Description The Crisis Accommodation Management Team purpose is to provide oversight of motel management in the provision of crisis accommodation to eligible participants across Micah Projects homelessness teams for individuals and families. The team works in close partnership with Micah Projects’ frontline homelessness teams to ensure safe, trauma-informed, and appropriate placements for eligible participants, while maintaining strong relationships with accommodation providers and sector partners. We are seeking a proactive and organised Program Assistant to support the efficient and effective functioning of the Crisis Accommodation Management Team. In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support, manage accurate data entry and report across internal systems, coordinate team meetings and communication, and assist with booking logistics. Working collaboratively with program staff and stakeholders, you will help ensure our crisis accommodation placements are well-documented, timely, and in line with program requirements and values. Desired Skills and Experience Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Crisis Accommodation Management Team. Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of records related to IHR placements, vacancies, and sector engagement within Micah Projects’ systems. Provide logistical and administrative assistance for IHR motel bookings and placement tracking, ensuring alignment with program guidelines and documentation requirements. Coordinate and support team and stakeholder meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, note-taking, and action tracking. Essential Criteria Experience in a generalist administration role, preferably in a fast-paced, service delivery environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written accuracy, verbal clarity, and professionalism. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands, and work both independently and collaboratively within team guidelines. Evidence of effectiveness of communication style, written and verbal skills, and IT competencies (including Microsoft Office and other IT systems). Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and a working knowledge of equity and WHS principles. Desirable Criteria Familiarity with the housing and homelessness sector or experience supporting frontline community service teams.
