About the role The company is seeking a Graduate V&V Engineer with relevant experience to join the team. We are looking for a highly motivated graduate engineer to join our team in a hybrid role that bridges Jama administration and V&V engineering . In the first phase of your role, you will be focused on enhancing and maintaining our Jama documentation and requirements workflows , including HTML/CSS-based template customization for exports and building a standards-based library of reusable components. Over time, this focus will decrease as you transition into more technical V&V responsibilities, such as software and hardware testing, test automation, and systems validation. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into a multi-disciplinary role across requirements management, documentation tooling, and V&V practices . Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Jama Documentation and Tooling Develop and maintain export templates (HTML CSS) within Jama Connect for consistent and standards-compliant document generation. Build and curate a Jama library of standards and reusable content, integrating industry-specific regulatory and technical requirements. Support multiple teams by customizing templates for different item types: needs, requirements, test cases, traceability matrices, etc. Work with systems engineers, product owners, and QA leads to streamline Jama workflows, improving usability and compliance. Act as a Jama SME (Subject Matter Expert) within the engineering group, assisting with template issues, formatting, export quality, and best practices. V&V Engineering Assist in manual and automated testing of systems and hardware. Write, execute, and maintain test cases based on systems and hardware requirements. Support verification and validation activities, including test planning, traceability, and reporting. Collaborate with developers and system engineers to troubleshoot and resolve defects. Participate in test lab activities (e.g., flashing firmware, collecting logs, analysing hardware behaviour). Maintain conformance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, DO-178, etc.) where applicable. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. Familiarity with HTML and CSS – ability to modify and create document templates. Understanding of requirements management principles (traceability, item relationships, test coverage). Strong written communication skills for working with structured documentation. Attention to detail and methodical approach to system-level thinking. Desirable (but Not Mandatory) Skills Exposure to Jama Connect or other requirements management tools (e.g., R4J, IBM DOORS). Knowledge of embedded systems or electronics fundamentals. Experience with test automation frameworks or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.). Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD, or QA tools (e.g., pytest, playwright).
