Our client is a well established hotel chain in metropolitan Melbourne is looking for Hotel Service Supervisor with great customer service skills to join their vibrant team. The position involves oversight of staff and to coordinate the service staff team members. This includes tasks such as allocating duties, maintaining records, and ensuring health and safety requirements are maintained. Overseeing the front office and reception you will be required to: • resolving staff issues and suggesting improvements. • supervise staff • maintaining records and rosters • attend to attendance records, staff schedules, and other administrative tasks related to staff management. • ensuring safety regulations are adhered to and also hotel policies and procedures. • oversight of guest services • co-ordinating with other departments ABOUT YOU: Relevant qualifications in Hospitality at certificate IV or above with at least 1 year of experience; or have at least 2 years of relevant work experience Enthusiasm, tenacity, attention to details and a positive, engaging approach to providing high-quality service Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP, as required Practice proper workplace health and safety procedures Comply with relevant regulations Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating roster Well presented, punctual and reliable Ability to keep your section clean and organized with a good understanding of work flow and structure Ability to prioritize and work under pressure Salary range $76,000-$80,000 per annum superannuation depending on experience.
