About the role AHA has a range of software solutions currently deployed which provide critical infrastructure and services across Australia. They range from application registration and document processing, to securely importing and analysing millions of lines of data each month. We’re looking for a full-time Junior Test Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team, which contributes to the delivery of quality software applications by developing and executing test plans, identifying and managing defects, and ensuring that the requirements have been met. You’ll have the opportunity to work from home and in our Melbourne office with the team (minimum one day per week in the office). As part of the team you’ll: Draft effective and thorough system tests for releases that are being deployed in production Create test cases and test plans according to criteria and correct project and release Record test evidence and update the test suite repository Create and manage defects in the system and categorise according to functionality Create, maintain and run SQL Queries Work with the Business Analysis (BA) and Development teams to investigate and resolve issues. About you You have: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline Early career experience, up to 3 years Proven experience in Application testing Developing skills in SQL Server Creative and ‘out of the box’ thinking and the ability to apply this to testing scenarios Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders Experience with MS Azure DevOps (desirable).
