Respond to public and media enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Support the development and execution of communication strategies. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community groups. Ensure all communication aligns with organisational goals and policies. Oversee internal communication channels and internal branding. Ensure all documentation is captured into record keeping system. Profile A successful Public Affairs Officer should have: Previous experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and community groups. Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism. Experience working within an internal communications team. Knowledge of public sector processes and communication protocols (preferred). Job Offer Hourly rate of approximately AUD $60 - $65 per hour.
