We’re looking for an experienced Senior Buyer (General Merch) to join a dynamic buying team and lead the development of innovative, profitable product ranges that excite customers and deliver strong commercial results. In this role, you’ll take ownership of your category, managing the end-to-end buying process - from product strategy and supplier negotiations to range selection and performance analysis. You’ll bring a deep understanding of customer trends, market opportunities, and product innovation to ensure our ranges are both competitive and on-brand. Key Responsibilities Create and lead the buying strategy for your category, aligned with company goals and customer insights. Identify, source, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers to ensure best price, quality, and lead times. Analyse sales, margin, and market trends to optimise range performance. Partner with planning, marketing, and merchandising teams to deliver compelling product stories. Coach, mentor, and develop junior members of the buying team. About You Proven experience in a Senior Buyer or Buying Manager role, ideally within Beauty, Pet or broader General Merchandise categories, Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build productive supplier and brand relationships. Excellent commercial acumen, with a track record of delivering profitable ranges.
