To support this success and continue our growth, there is a new opportunity for a high-performing, motivated individual to join the team. KPMG’s Brisbane team advises and supports our clients (both domestic and international) across various sectors and transactions, including buy side, sell side, acquisitions, mergers, divestments, takeover response, and strategic equity capital raisings. This is a market-facing role where you will play a key part in generating, evaluating, pitching, and executing high-impact transactions, as well as developing our team and market opportunities. KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice is one of the largest nationally, with strong connections to our international KPMG networks, enabling us to deliver cross-border engagements for high-profile clients in both public and private markets. Your Opportunity – Director or Associate Director You will directly support and engage personally with a diverse range of clients. From day one, you will work on live, interesting transactions with direct client interaction. You will be involved in generating, analyzing, structuring, and executing significant deal flow across growth sectors. Your skills and experience may include: Recent experience working on transactions in an investment bank, corporate advisory firm, private equity, or accounting firm (M&A Advisory or Corporate Finance) with 7 years of experience. Ability to work in a close-knit team environment and contribute to the team’s culture and success, including mentoring junior team members. Drive to develop deal flow and build your network to originate mandates. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with conviction to execute across the full spectrum of M&A deals. Technical and time management skills to deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple demands. Understanding of market and economic trends impacting clients, with a voice in the market. Exposure to the Natural Resources sector is highly preferred. Commitment to high professional and ethical standards.
