Position Overview The Head of Marketing is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across all MedicinesRus Chemist pharmacy locations. This role leads the centralized marketing function that creates compelling marketing strategies across all distribution channels, builds brand recognition, manages customer data and loyalty programs, designs effective merchandising, and generates measurable traffic and sales growth while maintaining brand consistency and managing customer engagement performance measures. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop comprehensive marketing strategy and annual plans with clear KPIs, budgets, and target segments Analyse market trends and competition to create differentiated positioning for each location Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximise marketing ROI Build and lead a centralised marketing capability across all pharmacy locations Traffic Generation Drive customer traffic across in-store, online, and on-demand channels through integrated campaigns Optimise digital marketing and promotions to attract and convert customers across all touch points Monitor conversion metrics and continuously improve acquisition efficiency Develop multi-channel customer acquisition strategies Brand Management Maintain consistent brand identity and standards across all customer touch points Build brand awareness and positive perception throughout the Sydney metro market Monitor brand health metrics and evolve positioning to maintain relevance Ensure brand consistency across all locations and marketing materials Campaign Development Execute strategic promotional campaigns with integrated messaging across all channels Manage campaign budgets effectively and optimise media mix for maximum impact Measure results, apply learnings, and report performance to stakeholders Coordinate seasonal and product-specific promotional activities Merchandising Create effective merchandising strategies and seasonal displays across all locations Implement consistent visual standards that enhance customer experience and product visibility Optimize product placement to maximize sales and encourage additional purchases Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical merchandising regulations Customer Experience Design and implement superior customer experiences across all touchpoints Establish service standards that reflect brand values and enhance customer satisfaction Gather feedback and continuously improve the customer journey Develop customer retention and satisfaction programs Database Management Maintain customer database with relevant insights while ensuring privacy compliance Analyse customer data to identify opportunities for personalized marketing Leverage data to enable targeted campaigns and measure effectiveness Implement customer segmentation strategies for targeted communication Loyalty Program Manage loyalty program structure, benefits, and targeted offers for different segments Drive program enrolment, active participation, and member engagement Measure program effectiveness in increasing customer retention and spend Develop personalised offers and communications for loyalty members Essential Requirements Education & Professional Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant discipline Professional marketing qualifications (CIM, Digital Marketing certifications) highly desirable Healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred Experience Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience with focus on retail or healthcare Proven track record in multi-location retail marketing or franchise marketing Experience in building and leading centralized marketing functions Demonstrated success in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and retention Leadership experience managing cross-functional marketing teams Core Competencies Deep understanding of retail pharmacy customer journey and healthcare marketing Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills Excellent brand management and creative campaign development abilities Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation Project management and change management capabilities Strong understanding of customer data privacy and compliance requirements J-18808-Ljbffr
