As an Essential Services Auditor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring fire safety compliance across our portfolio of 85 residential and commercial apartment buildings. Your primary responsibility will be conducting routine audits of Essential Safety Measures (ESM) and fire compliance. Additionally, you'll serve as a key support for our Owners Corporation (OC) Managers, addressing construction-related queries and facilitating effective communication among various stakeholders. The role: Conduct audits and inspections of buildings (primarily Class 2) to assess compliance with fire safety and ESM requirements. Prepare detailed audit reports with recommendations and compliance statuses for OC Managers. Liaise with clients, landlords, contractors, staff, and managers to report on ongoing work and address queries related to building services and maintenance. Maintain accurate data and records for the MICM portfolio, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility. Assist Owners Corporation Managers with project advice. Undertake additional training in Essential Services Management as required. About you: Have existing experience in Essential Safety Measures auditing and /or a trade background (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing) is highly regarded. Facilities Management / Contractor Management and building surveying exposure is highly regarded. Be comfortable travelling to and from different sites (all within Southbank and CBD portfolio) A proactive, organised, confident and approachable individual who can engage with multiple stakeholders, internal and external. Strong problem solving skills; need to be analytical, conscientious and considered before executing solutions. Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal.
