A highly regarded engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their high voltage design team. About the Role This opportunity suits someone with a strong background in high-voltage design, particularly within the industrial and utility sectors. The role spans everything from concept design to detailed studies and client-facing consultancy work. You’ll contribute to projects involving network augmentation, substation and switching station design, and work closely with utility providers such as Ausgrid and Essential Energy. In this role, you will: Deliver HV, MV, and LV electrical designs for industrial and infrastructure projects. Conduct protection studies, fault level analysis, and network modelling for private and public networks. Work with clients to develop tailored electrical solutions, including equipment selection and layout planning. Prepare construction-ready drawings and documentation. Engage with utility providers and support ASP Level 3 design and approval processes. About You Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with 8 years’ experience in high-voltage or power systems design. Solid understanding of ASP Level 3 design and utility standards in NSW. Experience working across coal, ports, mining, or heavy industrial environments. Skilled in protection coordination and power system analysis. Comfortable liaising with clients and utilities to guide project outcomes.
