Located just west of Dalby on the Warrego Highway, they service a wide area of Queensland and beyond. Simplicity Coating is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated trade qualified Vehicle Spray Painter to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities The successful applicant will be expected to carry out the following duties: Removing rough spots on vehicle/equipment panels. Prepare vehicle, body components and parts for primer application. Measure, mix and applying primers and paint. Prepare primed vehicle, body components and parts in readiness for paint application. Clean vehicles, body components and parts in readiness for paint application Masking vehicles, equipment, body components and parts in readiness for paint application Colour matching and fixing of parts. Using spray-guns to apply primer and finishing coats, and sanding surfaces between coats by hand and with power sanders. Paint and clear coat application to vehicles, body components and parts. Polishing and touching up the paint on vehicles, equipment, body components and parts. Eliminating masking papers and polishing and waxing the completed paint job. Other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience To qualify for this position, you will have: Certificate lll in Automotive Refinishing Technology or Relevant Trade qualification At least 2 years’ experience A keen eye for details Adhere to all work, health and safety policies and procedures.
