Senior Network Consulting Engineer Who you'll be working with: One of the world's largest networking companies with a heavy footprint in the Telco industry. They are based in the heart of Brisbane's CBD and offer a hybrid working environment with 3 days in office. It is a 12 month contract initially with scope to extend further. CCIE qualification mandatory. What you'll be doing: Ideally, you will have strong knowledge withing the Telco industry with deep knowledge of Routing & Switching which align to the following duties: Drive technology design, implementation, execution and/or optimization for customer projects/accounts. Works with customers to plan, design, configure and/or diagnose products, services and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes Assists customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems and service assurance Supports presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design Builds customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues Take leadership role in execution of delivery projects Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services Complies with and supports company policies and processes and utilizes relevant tools to effectively execute the role and support Professional Services' strategies and goals. Your Skills You should have extensive experience in the following areas to be successful in this role: Strong background in Service Provider network architecture Demonstrated abilities to juggle simultaneous work tasks ranging from system/solution integration to complex technical issues dealing with protocols, network devices and other technical areas Service Provider Routing & Switching with experience on MPLS, Segment Routing (SR), Segment Routing v6 (SRv6), IPv6, EVPN and BNG Experience of working with Cisco routers and switches using IOS and IOS-XR Experience of working with Cisco ASR9K, Nexus and NCS platforms Knowledge of key frameworks, platforms, technologies and protocols for Software Orchestration and Automation of Networks (SDN) desirable Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python and Perl desirable If this sounds like the perfect job role for you, please apply within or contact David on 0431984242.
