Key Responsibilities Partner with the Finance Director to refine financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and uphold compliance, driving both efficiency and alignment with corporate policies Oversee and perform accounting, statutory and management reporting, as well as FP&A activities for the Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance relative regulatory requirements (ANZ GAAP & IFRS) Contribute to financial strategy development, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strong financial governance. Analyse and project financial data, turning insights into actionable recommendations for operational and executive decision-making. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to manage audits and ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST, payroll tax, and all other statutory obligations across ANZ. Work closely with global finance teams to enhance transparency, streamline processes, and strengthen cross-border collaboration. Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in line with local legislation. Adapt responsibilities and priorities as the Finance Department’s structure and strategic direction evolve. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent professional qualification is essential. Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience, including team management. Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is highly advantageous. Experience in financial consolidation will be well regarded. Exposure to the FMCG sector and/or multinational environments preferred. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate and sustain productive partnerships. Skilled in prioritising and delegating tasks to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. High standards of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
