The Role FHR currently have multiple opportunities for a Trade Assistant, Auto Electrician or Chassis Assembler to join our client that specialises in the bus and coach body manufacturing industry. This opportunity is located in Eagle Farm, 4009, QLD and we have immediate starts available for the candidate who is successful in their application for this position. Benefits: Enjoy a competitive hourly wage of between $47 to $54 per hour This role offers work between Monday to Friday, operating between the hours of 6am-3pm Elevate your career within the organisation with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate Experience a workplace culture that prioritises health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for you to perform your duties Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the installation, wiring, and testing of electrical systems for buses and coaches under the guidance of qualified auto electricians. Support the assembly, fitting, and alignment of chassis components and body structures according to engineering specifications. Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for daily production tasks. Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs, adjustments, and component replacements as directed. Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
