The Role: As the Customer Accounts Manager, you’ll lead a team of nine administrators and oversee the Customer Accounts and Credit Claims functions. You’ll be responsible for managing workflows, procedures, and reporting to ensure accurate account keeping and prompt dispute resolution. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining and improving ERP systems to enhance user experience and business outcomes. You’ll report to the Head of Finance & Business Services and collaborate closely with internal departments, customers, service providers, and senior stakeholders. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and coach the Customer Accounts team to deliver efficient processes and quality outcomes. Manage SLAs and reporting, with a focus on DSO and cash collection targets. Resolve customer cylinder balance variations and payment disputes. Liaise with senior and sales management on disputed outcomes. Provide technical advice and analysis on Cyltrack system matters. Oversee bad debt provisioning and liaise with external advisors. Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with HSE plans. Occasionally travel interstate and attend multi-day conferences. About You: You’re a commercially savvy leader with strong customer focus and a knack for problem solving. You bring: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (postgrad in Business or Management desirable). Experience leading diverse teams and managing conflict. Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills. Advanced spreadsheet and ERP system knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics preferred). A drive for results, initiative, and accountability.
