We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Drafter/Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for civil construction and a strong background in drafting and estimation to take on a diverse and rewarding role. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, revise and update detailed technical drawings and plans for civil works using AutoCAD or equivalent software. Interpret architectural and engineering designs to produce accurate and compliant documentation. Collaborate with engineers, project managers and site personnel to ensure plans reflect site conditions and construction requirements. Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation post-project completion. Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Compile quantities and costs of materials, labour and equipment required for earthmoving and civil construction projects. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and prepare quotation comparisons. Prepare and submit detailed tender submissions and project budgets. Analyse project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates. Assist in job cost tracking and reporting during project execution. Requirements: Relevant qualifications. At least 2-3 years proven experience in drafting and estimation within the civil construction or earthmoving industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and estimation software (e.g. Cubit, CostX, or similar). Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of local construction standards, codes and safety regulations. Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
