Duties In this role, you will be involved in: Performing proactive patching on various applications to support clients' vulnerability management plans Collecting and collating data to support regular cybersecurity-related reporting activities Conducting health checks on existing client solution implementations, including Security Awareness Training Platforms, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), Firewalls, and Application Control Provision of technical support and troubleshooting for security-related issues to customers based in Australia Staying up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices Maintenance of documentation concerning security procedures, processes, and incidents Assisting in conducting post-incident reviews and implementing corrective actions Documentation and logging of all actions into ticketing system Potentially responsibilities may also include some incident response Requirements Requirements To succeed in this role, we don't expect you to have skills in all of these areas but a working knowledge will give you an advantage: Proven experience in a cybersecurity or a related role, with a focus on vulnerability management, patching, and incident response Knowledge and understanding of common security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including EDR, Firewalls, and Application Control solutions A general knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking principles Experience working with an IT outsourcer or managed service provider (MSP) An understanding of ticketing systems and customer service principles Experience with Connectwise, Labtech, and/or Solarwinds Orion (Desired) Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English (Mandatory) Qualifications Possession of these certifications will give you an advantage for this role, so if you have any of these, please make sure to let us know: CompTIA Security Certified Ethical Ha-cker (CEH), or equivalent Vendor certifications from Fortinet, Sophos, Avanade etc Benefits First Focus’ values are based around keeping everyone informed, aligned, supported, and rewarding performance.
