You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, balance compliance with advisory opportunities, and start building your leadership profile while receiving strong mentorship from senior managers and partners. Key Responsibilities Compliance delivery & oversight: Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals Month-end & reporting: Support clients with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Mentorship: Guide and review the work of intermediate and graduate accountants, fostering their technical and professional growth Client relationships: Act as a trusted contact for your portfolio, identifying opportunities for value-added advisory work Process improvement: Contribute to refining workflows and making the most of cloud software (Xero, MYOB) Technical awareness: Stay updated on legislative changes and share insights with clients and the team What You’ll Bring 4–6 years in public practice or business services, with strong compliance skills and some exposure to advisory CA/CPA qualification (or close to completion) – with full support to finish Working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients A proactive approach, with the ability to organise tasks and meet deadlines A growth mindset, eager to develop leadership and advisory capabilities If you’re ready to take the leap from senior accountant to junior manager, this is your opportunity to grow into a leadership role with the guidance, resources, and culture to help you succeed.
