About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled labourer with metal finishing and grinding experience. This is a hands-on role in a busy fabrication workshop, where you’ll be responsible for grinding, finishing, and preparing steel components to meet quality standards. Key Duties: Attend daily toolbox meetings and discuss tasks Use grinders, jackhammers, and cranes to complete daily tasks Grind and remove metal particles from castings Check and wear the required PPE at all times Conduct pre-start checks on hand tools and cranes Complete all required paperwork by the end of the shift Ensure tools are kept in good condition What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in fettling, grinding, or metal finishing. Must be able to use a disc, angle, side grinder. Ability to operate grinders, jackhammers, and lifting equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Knowledge of safe work practices and PPE compliance. Physically fit and reliable.
