We specialise in high-quality, design-led projects and have built a reputation for excellence, precision, and reliability. You'll be joining a small, professional team of versatile tradesmen - including Australian, French, Iranian, and German craftsmen - all passionate about delivering exceptional work with a European design influence. We're looking for an experienced Draftsperson who is also a qualified cabinetmaker to join our team full-time. You'll take the lead on technical drawings, CNC nesting, and material orders, while collaborating closely with our production and installation teams. We are currently using Vectorworks (CAD) and Mozaik (CNC nesting). However, we are in the process of transitioning to Microvellum as our primary software over the coming months. Experience in any of these systems will be valued, with training and support provided during the transition. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to : Produce detailed design and shop drawings using CAD software Create CNC nesting files (Mozaik for now; Microvellum in future) Prepare and manage material orders for production Ensure feasibility, accuracy, and efficiency of joinery designs Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and production staff Occasionally assist with factory work or on-site installations Maintain compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills and experience : Qualified cabinetmaker with strong understanding of joinery construction and installation Proficient in CAD software (Vectorworks or similar) Microvellum experience ideal (or willingness to learn during transition) Mozaik experience is beneficial but not required Excellent attention to detail and practical design skills Current White Card and driver's licence Forklift licence (advantageous but not required) Detail-focused and organised Enjoys working on high-quality, complex joinery Understands the full joinery process - from design to installation Collaborative, communicative, and team-oriented This is a hands-on design and drafting role, based on-site in Bibra Lake, with occasional work in the factory or on-site for installation or support.
