We are currently seeking permanent part-time Disability Support Workers to support our clients in SIL’s and other NDIS facilities services across Loganlea & Tanah Merah. What we can offer you: Pay rates starting from $34.58 ($35.67 starting pay rate if you have a relevant Cert IV) penalties loadings. 12% superannuation (higher than the statutory 11.5%). Overview of the role: 24-hour care model, meaning combination of shifts are available – morning, afternoon, weekends, and sleepovers. Assist participants with the range of self-care activities. Support high care clients with diabetes management, seizure management and mealtime management. Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities. Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements. Implement positive behaviour support plans. Use a company vehicle and your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings. What you need: Completed, or currently enrolled, in an industry relevant Certificate III qualification or higher. Minimum of three (3) months, paid employment experience in a Support Worker, Care Worker or Nursing role. Experience supporting clients with challenging behaviours that have restrictive practices and PBSPs in place. Experience with high medical needs is preferred, including Diabetes management, seizure management and mealtime management.
