We're looking for a motivated APS5 Workforce Operations Officer to support high-volume recruitment and workforce operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. About the Role As a Workforce Operations Officer, you'll provide essential administrative and operational support for recruitment and onboarding activities across multiple divisions. You'll work closely with internal teams, recruitment partners, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient hiring processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys variety, and is confident managing sensitive information and competing priorities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment activities including interview scheduling, reference checks, and selection reports. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes (e.g. ICT requests, system access, building passes). Provide high-level administrative support and handle confidential information. Monitor shared mailboxes and action internal work items. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and recruitment partners. About You You're a proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail. You're comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines, and you bring a positive, solutions-focused mindset to your work. You'll bring: Experience in recruitment or HR administration. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities. Desirable Experience Previous experience in the Australian Public Service. Familiarity with recruitment platforms (e.g. eRecruit or similar). Experience in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
