About the Role You’ll be employed by Work & Training and placed with our respected host, where you’ll be working full-time (38 hours per week) in a hands-on, fulfilling horticultural role. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement horticultural work programs across a range of landscapes and plant collections. Maintain and enhance specific plant displays or collections, ensuring detailed and up-to-date records. Monitor plant health and manage pests and diseases effectively. Maintain irrigation systems, horticultural equipment, and machinery in line with WHS policies. Engage with staff and the public, providing expert horticultural advice. Carry out other relevant duties as required. ✅ What You Need Essential: Certificate III in Horticulture (AHC30716) or equivalent qualification from a registered training provider. Desirable: Current driver’s licence. First Aid – Workplace Level 2 certificate. Accredited chainsaw competency. Previous experience in a botanical or public garden setting.
