Information Technology Services (ITS) Full-time, fixed term position through December 2026 Base salary will be in the range $93,491- $100,296 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6) Based at our St Lucia location About This Opportunity We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Change and Engagement Coordinator to help deliver initiatives that drive meaningful cyber security culture change across the University. Working within a collaborative team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Cyber Security Outreach and Culture, you will be building strong relationships with leaders across the University and supporting them with tailored strategies to uplift cyber awareness and capability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with diverse stakeholders, creating compelling content, and promoting a culture of security through collaboration, communication, and behavioural change. Key responsibilities will include: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the University to support tailored cyber security awareness and capability initiatives. Develop and deliver engaging content and training that promotes cyber security best practices across a wide range of audiences. Coordinate and track participation in awareness activities, including targeted training and simulated phishing campaigns. Support the planning and delivery of events, workshops, and community-building initiatives such as the cyber champions’ network. With a background in a relevant field such as communications, psychology, or marketing, you’re comfortable creating compelling content, coordinating initiatives, and working with stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in a collaborative environment, take initiative, and bring both creativity and attention to detail to everything you do. You will have: A relevant degree (e.g. psychology, change management, communications or marketing), or equivalent experience/training Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to consult and influence across diverse stakeholder groups Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging content Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities Confidence in presenting to groups, or a willingness to develop this skill Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign A genuine interest in cyber security and building awareness in this space Desirable: Experience working in the higher education sector Experience in change management or marketing The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, etc. You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.
