You’ll contribute to: Making decisions on critical, high risk and sensitive claims including applying legislation, conducting investigations and analysing evidence in line with policy and legislation. Reviewing and approving Reasons for Decision (for delays, acceptances, rejections and upgrades), identifying trends Supporting leaders to resolve customer escalations, assess and uplift the capability of new team members through coaching and feedback Operating autonomously and mentoring Claim Representatives to meet performance targets and resolve escalations A bit about you: Tertiary qualifications in legal, allied health, insurance, or a related field (highly regarded); industry-specific certification in Personal Injury Management is desirable. Demonstrated experience in managing personal injury claims: establishing liability, applying legislation, evaluating complex evidence, and delivering timely, high‑quality decisions. Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to interpret legislation, evidence, and customer information to recommend and implement effective outcomes efficiently Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to address difficult liability issues professionally, build and maintain relationships across stakeholders and influence best practices. Proven ability to plan and prioritise workload, manage time effectively and operate independently in ambiguous environment.
