We are looking for experienced and dealer trained Auto Electricians, Diesel Mechanics and Motor Mechanics with European made light vehicles, trucks and 4WDs experience for our client in the Toowoomba & Darling Downs region. These roles will include all aspects of maintenance and repairs to trucks and trailers, Light/ heavy vehicles & new vehicle pre-delivery etc. Some of the duties may include but not limited to below; depending on your position. In this role you will be required but not limited to: Servicing and maintenance of vehicles (as per factory required standards) Diagnostic tracing of fault codes and repair of traced fault Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition and electronic fuel injection Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems Servicing of electrical automotive parts Dismantling of engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other component for rebuilding or repair. Auto Electricians to undertake electrical work on new vehicles prior to delivery. This work will include standard electrical additions from lights, fridges, isolators, and invertors to complex integration into standard vehicle systems. Auto electrical work, brake adjustment, and wheel laser alignment General vehicle maintenance as required by customers, including removal and replacement of worn components Testing of vehicle under driving conditions after repairs have been completed Successful applicants must have the following: Relevant Trade Qualifications/Experience/ Trade Certificates A current Motor Mechanic/Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or equivalent for diesel mechanics At least 1 years full time work experience within the automotive industry Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintenance of European made vehicles as well as other vehicles/brands (Including 4WDs) Good diagnostic skills on specific brands Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure Good organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team High attention to detail and excellent trouble-shooting skills Manufacturer training and experience is essential We will consider skilled, experienced and company/dealer trained technicians ONLY and the shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
