Account Manager – Control Systems Melbourne Based Australian owned business with a national presence $130K - $150K plus super plus car allowance The Company Paragon Talent has been engaged to assist a leading Australian owned Industrial Automation and Control Systems Engineering organisation who provide a variety of solutions to their clients across multiple industries. Due to an internal promotion, a new opportunity has become available for an Account Manager with a control systems background to join their team. The Account Manager will primarily work with clients in the water sector but will also work with clients across other industries. This position is to be based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs and would suit a Control Systems professional who loves client engagement and providing technical solutions. The Position As an Account Manager you will be responsible for: Serving as a control systems technical expert and trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales cycle Build and maintain relationships with clients in the water sector throughout Victoria and Tasmania Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and capabilities of our clients solutions Understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions to meet their specific needs Provide technical guidance and support to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and implemented Prepare and deliver technical proposals and product quotes in response to customer inquiries Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other sales events to promote our products and generate leads This is an exciting period for my client who is currently very busy. This position would suit an Engineering professional who has a strong control systems background with a focus on SCADA, PLC, HMI and RTU technologies. The successful candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement qualities and a keen interest in sales and account management. A very competitive salary package comprising of a base salary of $130K - $150K plus car allowance plus super is available to the successful candidate.
