An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Plant Operator to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Clermont. Reporting to the Team Leader - Infrastructure this position provides assistance with coordination, integration and delivery of services and the construction, maintenance and operational delivery of vehicles, plant and equipment across Isaac Regional Council. ABOUT YOU Minimum 12 months experience in similar role Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics and general maintenance Plant tickets relevant to the job i.e. loader, roller, excavator (other plant tickets are desirable) Ability and willingness to undertake labouring duties when required ‘C’ Class driver’s licence (or higher is desirable) Construction White card BENEFITS Salary $67,578.63 - $68,968.27 per annum allowances (Stream B, Level 4-5) Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday) 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement Exclusive access for you and your immediate family to our Employee Assistance Program, facilitated through Gryphon Psychology Discounted private health insurance through Bupa Health Job security and job satisfaction!
