Description We are currently recruiting an Electrical Technician to join our team in Deniliquin. The Electrical Technician is responsible for the construction, maintenance, inspection, and operation of equipment related to energy Transmission and Distribution systems. This includes working on substations, underground distribution systems, metering, and street lighting, ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to our customers. Key Responsibilities Construction, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and network assets Installation, inspection, connection, and disconnection of meters including CT metering Inspection and testing of customer installations and network infrastructure High and low voltage switching and operating work Construction and maintenance of Padmount and Kiosk Substations Installation and maintenance of underground power and signal cables Installation and testing of street lighting equipment Operation of plant and equipment associated with electrical works About You As an Electrical Technician, you will demonstrate practical application of your trade qualifications and experience in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment. You’ll be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service. This position may involve travel and working away from home.
