Role: Business Development Manager Location: Gymea Job type: Permanent Salary: Dependent upon experience A well-established and growing supplier to the energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors is seeking a dynamic and experienced usiness Development Manager to join their team. This is a key role within a tight-knit business that services clients across major projects in power, rail, and industrial infrastructure . The ideal candidate will be a commercially savvy relationship builder who understands the importance of delivering excellent service while identifying new opportunities for growth. Your ability to manage the full sales cycle, from enquiry to post-delivery support will be critical in supporting existing accounts and driving further success. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts in the energy and infrastructure sectors Oversee the full sales process: from quoting and order coordination through to delivery and ongoing client support Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts and drive new business leads Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery Prepare regular updates on account performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity Act as the key point of contact for customer queries and problem resolution Keep up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to tailor solutions accordingly About You Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally in a technical product environment (electrical or mechanical) A background working with clients in the power, utilities, rail, or infrastructure sectors Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility Proactive, organised, and commercially minded Experience managing multiple priorities and internal stakeholders A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous If you are a Business Development Manager and interested in this role, then please apply and we will be in touch.
