A newly created BDM role to grow the waffle pod side of the business and grow it your way. Role Overview Reporting to a Sales Manager who knows the game inside out, you’ll work autonomously from the Minchinbury branch, taking full responsibility for building the residential & light commerical single dwelling slab side of the business. They just need you to bring the experience, and customers. If you’ve sold waffle pods before, you’ll know exactly who to call. You’ll also know that the industry is direct, fast, and sometimes a bit rough around the edges – which is why your thick skin, industry know-how, and drive to succeed will be critical. Key Responsibilities : Drive new business growth in the Waffle Pod market across residential and small commercial sectors Develop and maintain strong relationships with concreters, builders, and contractors to build a loyal client base Collaborate effectively with production, dispatch, and scheduling teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries Proactively pursue opportunities by following up leads, preparing quotes, and engaging in tenders Build a strong on-site presence and become the trusted point of contact for your customers Provide regular reporting on sales activity, key wins, pipeline progress, and upcoming opportunities Candidate Profile You’ll either be: An experienced BDM or Sales Rep with 3 years selling waffle pods slabs OR A seasoned Construction Sales pro with an existing book of concreters or builders and a track record of new business development To succeed in this role, you’ll need: A solid understanding of the building and construction industry Experience dealing with site-based clients – you know how to handle concreters/trades A hunter mindset – this is about building, not inheriting.
