We're seeking a passionate Halal Slaughterperson to join our production team. This isn't just a job, it's a vital role where you'll be the champion for the integrity of our Halal process, ensuring every step adheres to the highest Islamic principles and industry standards. The Role Ensuring animals are handled with utmost care and compassion to minimise stress throughout the process. Maintaining the absolute integrity of the Halal process across the entire slaughter line. Operating and meticulously maintaining slaughtering equipment, ensuring it is always clean, sharp, and in optimal working condition. Adhering to strict processing speeds and production targets without ever compromising Halal integrity or product quality. Strictly following all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and rigorous Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures, including the proper use of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Upholding the highest standards of animal welfare guidelines and promoting a safe work environment. About you To excel in this critical role, you must meet the following essential requirements: You are a practicing Muslim You possess prior experience as a Halal Slaughterman, ideally within a fast-paced processing environment. You demonstrate excellent knife skills, precision, and efficiency in your work. You are physically fit, highly committed, reliable, and punctual. You can adhere to strict Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) and rigorous animal welfare guidelines. You have a strong work ethic and a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
