Axiom is seeking a skilled Litigation Lawyer to support our client, a large Australian conglomerate, on a short-term contract engagement. Ideal candidates will have 5 years of well-rounded litigation experience, ideally in the areas of personal injury, liability, and/or employment disputes. This is a full-time contract opportunity for 3 - 6 weeks, which can be performed remotely. Part-time schedule may be available. Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice and direction on various litigation matters, including personal injury claims, general liability, employment disputes, and other commercial matters. Collaborate closely with fellow litigation counsel (both internal and external) to manage a range of disputes and claims, ensuring postivie,business -minded outcomes. Engage with external partners and stakeholders effectively and manage relationships with a professional demeanor. Quickly integrate into our team and contribute positively with minimal ramp-up time due to the short-term nature of the engagement. Support the continuation of current legal cases and manage new issues as they arise. Qualifications: Legal professional with significant litigation experience, ideally with both private practice (PP) and in-house exposure. Demonstrable expertise in personal injury or general liability litigation, with familiarity in employment disputes and general commercial litigation. Proven ability to handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision and a track record of positive outcomes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work remotely on a short-term basis starting in mid-September. Why Join Axiom?
