Estimator – Civil Construction Location: Eight Mile Plains About the Role Reporting to the Estimating manager, you will take charge of accurately estimating project costs, including labour, plant, assets, and overhead, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive. You’ll be a key contributor in the bid and tender process and collaborate closely with project management, procurement, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Evaluate project specifications, conduct cost analysis, and prepare detailed estimates for tender submissions Prepare and verify bills of quantities (BOQs) Manage the quantity take-off process Prepare and coordinate requests for information (RFIs) Support the team throughout the tender process About You Previous experience as an Estimator or civil site engineer Experience with subdivisions, rail, TMR works, or civil structures Strong knowledge of construction methods, material costs, labour rates, and industry standards Ability to interpret and analyse technical documentation and specifications Some exposure to tenders or bid processes highly desirable Familiarity with Expert Estimation and Bluebeam is a bonus (training provided) What’s in it for you?
