About the role We are looking for a full-time Assistant Coordinator to work alongside our experienced service Coordinator within our well established OSHC program. Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of St Martin’s Primary School in Davidson and is open from 7:00am to 9am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time. During school holidays and Pupil free days the service runs a Vacation Care program from 7:30am- 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Location: Davidson NSW Award : CSA 5.1 Retention Super Salary Sacrifice Allowances Days: Monday to Friday, split shits Classification : Full time permanent Duties Supporting the coordinator with the efficient day to day operation of the service. Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children Ensuring compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations. Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required. Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service. Willingness to engage in professional development. Requirements Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain. Working With Children Check. Current First Aid in an Education and Care Setting or willingness to obtain. Highly Desirable Knowledge of regulation relevant to Outside School Hours Care under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law. Experience in working in Out of School Hours Care Experience as an Assistant Coordinator Qualification in Early Childhood Skills and experience in team leadership.
