Clinical Psychologist – (Children & Adults) Employment Type: Contractor – Flexible Hours - % billables Start Date: Negotiable We are a well-established, multidisciplinary psychology and allied health clinic with a strong reputation for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults. We are currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist with strong experience in psychological assessments , particularly in the areas of ADHD and ASD , across the lifespan. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about diagnostic clarity and early identification, and who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team. About the Role As part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments for children, adolescents, and adults with suspected ADHD, ASD , or related neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions. You’ll also provide therapeutic treatment/counselling and enjoy variety in the role. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments for such as ADHD and ASD, dyslexia, Learning Difficulties Administer, score, and interpret standardised tools (e.g. ADOS-2, Conners, WISC, WAIS, Vineland, etc.) Prepare high-quality assessment reports suitable for medical, educational, and NDIS use Provide feedback to clients and families with sensitivity and clarity Offer counselling support for individuals post-assessment Collaborate with referring professionals such as GPs, paediatricians, and school What We Offer Purpose-built, modern consulting room and seperate assessment room with 2 way mirror (parent viewing room) Internal and external referrals ncluding from GPs, paediatricians, and schools Administrative support for bookings, reports, and invoicing Strong processes and practice management systems Flexible scheduling – choose your days and hours A collaborative, experienced, and friendly multidisciplinary team Peer consultation and professional development opportunities About You Fully registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA Extensive experience in psychological assessment, particularly ADHD and ASD across children and adults Proficient in cognitive, educational, and behavioural assessment tools Strong report writing and communication skills ABN, Medicare eligibility, and relevant insurances Compassionate, professional, and motivated to build a caseload in private practice If you’re passionate about making a meaningful impact through diagnostic work and supporting neurodivergent individuals, we’d love to hear from you.
