About the opportunity This is a logistics and operations support role reporting to the acting WA State Manager. The position will see you coordinate equipment movements, manage vessel summaries, monitor schedules and liaise with clients and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will: Maintain shipping schedules and equipment allocations in internal systems Review vessel arrivals and ensure equipment availability Liaise with contractors, clients and internal teams for on-time operations Plan logistics for transport, including cranes and required labour Conduct regional visits to review site operations and service outcomes You will coordinate logistics and equipment movements for all WA-based shipping activity, ensure system accuracy, manage exceptions and support operations. The role requires occasional travel to regional ports and on-call availability during the active shipping season. About you This role requires an experienced in logistics, freight, or shipping, ideally within the fertiliser or bulk product space. You may come from a transport coordination, vessel operations or site-based equipment background. You are comfortable using systems to plan, allocate and manage operations, and are capable of communicating clearly with technicians, clients and senior managers. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Experience in shipping, logistics, or transport coordination Understanding of vessel schedules and equipment logistics Professional presentation and stakeholder communication skills Strong attention to detail and system/data accuracy A current driver's licence Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test Willingness to obtain a police clearance and potentially a MSIC Experience working with or coordinating heavy equipment (desirable) Exposure to scheduling systems or shipping software (advantageous) What's on offer This position offers a career with a well-established company in a niche industry.
