We’re assisting a client, one of the major energy operator to find a Senior Project Engineer to join their Greenfield Development team. This role plays a key part in delivering short- and long-term infrastructure projects to support a high-impact well delivery program. Position Overview: As the Senior Project Engineer, you'll provide critical engineering and execution support across pipeline, electrical, and wellhead facility projects. You'll lead scopes from design through to execution, ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with strategic project objectives. 12-month fixed term rolling contracts Brisbane-based opportunities No FIFO or Relocation offered Candidates must have full Australian working rights Pipeline Gathering experience (Essential) Oil & Gas and Construction experience (Essential) NOT OPEN TO OVERSEAS APPLICANTS Key Responsibilities Manage the safe and timely delivery of gathering network projects and surface facilities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mature and deliver engineering scopes. Monitor and support FEED, detailed design, and construction. Align engineering work with project strategy, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with established governance, safety, and project development processes. What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years’ experience in project engineering or related roles within oil & gas. Proven experience with greenfield development, gathering systems, and facility execution. Strong technical grounding in upstream development and operational practices. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Engineering degree required; Chartered or RPEQ status and PM qualifications highly regarded.
