The Opportunity We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Plant Cleaners at Harvey, WA. In this vital role, you will help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our plant, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The Role Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of production floors, walls, drains, and ceilings using high-pressure hoses, foaming units, and appropriate cleaning chemicals Clean production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to eliminate protein, fat, and blood residues Follow strict hygiene and food safety protocols, ensuring all surfaces meet sanitation standards set by regulatory authorities Empty garbage bins, service restrooms, and wipe down communal surfaces. Use of chemicals safely and correctly, ensuring proper dilution, labelling, storage, and handling. Work within a team or independently in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments while wearing full PPE Comply with site-specific health and safety requirements, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when cleaning around machinery Identify and report any necessary repairs to the Cleaning and Sanitation Supervisor. Tackle heavy cleaning tasks as needed. What Makes You a Great Fit A high level of motivation and the ability to work independently. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, pushing, and lifting. Experience with cleaning equipment and machinery (preferred but not required). A proactive attitude and a focus on safety and hygiene.
