Senior Analyst Credit Policy & Governance As the Senior Analyst Credit Policy & Governance you will review and support the ongoing development of appropriate credit policies for the retail and business lending functions of the Bank. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills with proven experience in interpreting and analysing legislation, regulation and other regulatory guidance. In this role you will ensure the bank maintains and implements a credit risk management framework appropriate for the size and scope of the bank’s credit risk activities. This position is open to candidates in Brisbane, offering you the flexibility to work from home two days a week. You’ll make an impact by: Maintaining and updating the credit risk management framework and associated credit risk policies. Developing and maintaining reporting which supports the assessment of the effectiveness of the Bank’s end-to-end lending processes. Leveraging the Bank’s enterprise risk system to enhance the reporting of credit risk against the risk appetite and strategy of the Bank. Assisting the existing secretariate function and governance processes of the Credit Risk Committee including Committee planning activities, preparation of agendas, minute taking and accurate recording keeping of Committee artefacts. Assisting the delivery and review of our Credit Assurance Plan across the credit life cycle. Do things differently with us To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience in risk management roles within Financial Services Experience in shaping governance policies and standards that is clear to users and aligned to strategy Knowledge of relevant Financial Services sector standards Good understanding and practical working knowledge of contemporary Compliance and Operational Risk Frameworks and systems Experience in data analysis and reporting Knowledge across multiple stages of the credit life cycle for a range of credit products Why Great Southern Bank?
