The Role Our Malanda dairy site located in tropical North Queensland, manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from over 40 farms within minutes from the factory. The site currently produces around 40 million litres of product every year! We are looking for a Team Manager to lead a manufacturing crew of 15 people to ensure the production requirements are met and the team are looked after. Previous people management experience is essential ; and dairy or food manufacturing experience is beneficial. Other backgrounds or industries will be considered. Responsibilities Lead the team to ensure our products are manufactured safely, in full and with high quality Coach and develop team members to achieve targets across the site . Performance m anagement for continuous improvement of team members by fostering supportive & constructive team culture Managing complexities using problem solving skills – root cause analysis, process improvement and corrective action Completing scheduled Continuous Improvement activities that are specified i n the B E X broad plan Ensure compliance to food safety, environmental and good manufacturing practices are followed About you Previous leadership experience in FMCG Proven experience influencing team members and ensuring targets are met Excellent problem-solving skill and coaching skills Continuous improvement mindset and in-depth knowledge of process improvement techniques Solid Microsoft office experience and being computer savvy Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
