About the role:  CPA Australia is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Learning Designer with a strong background in instructional design and hands-on experience in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance learning. Reporting to the Learning Design Manger, and located within the Learning and Innovation department, the Learning Designer will be responsible for:  Designing and developing learning products that align with and support CPA Australiaâs strategic objectives Building engaging, brand-aligned eLearning, including graphics and short-form video assets while applying sound adult-learning and user-experience principles Authoring, publishing and maintaining courses inâ¯D2Lâ¯Brightspace and the Articulateâ¯360 suite (Storylineâ¯&â¯Rise) Leveraging AIâpowered tools to accelerate content creation, personalise learner pathways and streamline production workflows Ensuring the quality, relevance, and instructional integrity of selected learning resources, with a strong focus on eLearning Working collaboratively within an agile project methodology to deliver learning assets and courses aligned with CPA membersâ needs and the CPA Program. Working closely with the Learning Design team and Learning & Development team, the Learning Designer provides learning design support for CPA Australiaâs CPA Program, Professional Development and other relevant products aimed at a sophisticated global audience and delivering against CPA Australiaâs organisational strategy and business objectives.  This role is a 12month fixed term contract  About you:  Experience in learning design, preferably within a professional or adult-education context Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) for interactive eLearning development Working knowledge of D2L Brightspace including course build, testing and basic analytics Experience using AI tools to improve learning design workflows, learner experience, and content scalability is a must Solid graphic-design capabilities using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent tools; basic motion-graphics or animation (e.g. Vyond, After Effects) desirable Experience with basic video capture and editing (e.g. Premiere Pro) Understanding of adult-learning theory, UX/UI best practice and WCAG accessibility guidelines Strong attention to detail, time-management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interpret briefs and explain design decisions to non-design stakeholders Tertiary qualification in instructional/learning design, education or a related discipline preferred  Why We Love Working at CPA Australia  At CPA Australia, weâre proud of our vibrant, values-led culture.
