Join a Growing Early Childhood Education Company We are recruiting for a childcare organisation currently operating 20 centres — and growing! We are on the lookout for an experienced, highly organised Facilities Maintenance Manager with experience in construction of new centre builds to lead and oversee the maintenance operations across all their centres, as well as support the development of new sites. About the Role: As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in managing a small team , overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, and ensuring our centres are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. You’ll also work closely with a leadership team and project managers on new build centres , contributing to operational planning and handover readiness. Your Responsibilities: Lead, coordinate and support a small maintenance team Schedule and prioritise maintenance requests across all 20 centres Engage and manage external contractors and suppliers Ensure compliance with WHS and relevant childcare facility standards Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and logs Oversee operational readiness of new centre builds in collaboration with project teams Monitor budgets and identify cost-effective maintenance solutions Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management About You: Proven experience in facilities management, building maintenance or property operations Strong organisational and time-management skills – able to juggle multiple priorities Experience leading a team or supervising trades/contractors Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management Strong problem-solving and proactive thinking Understanding of WHS and regulatory compliance in early learning environments Current Driver’s Licence (essential) Trade qualification or background (highly regarded) Ready to Join?
