We are currently seeking a full-time Civil Draftsperson to join our dynamic and growing business. Address: 1/62 Dacre Street, Mitchell, ACT 2911 Main Duties and Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other design software. Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and site supervisors. Conduct site surveys and gather field data to support engineering analysis and decision-making. Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations. Perform on-site inspections to assess construction materials, soil conditions, and overall quality. Produce and coordinate detailed working drawings with consultants and project teams. Estimate material requirements and verify that completed work aligns with design specifications and contract requirements. Supervise and manage maintenance and repair activities for existing civil infrastructure. Interpret work instructions, select appropriate tools and methods, and apply correct procedures during project execution. Personal & Professional Attributes Relevant qualification mandatory. At least one year of experience in a similar role is required. Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D, Revit or other drafting tools is highly regarded. Sound understanding of engineering principles and local construction regulations. Enthusiastic and motivated individual. Able to work in a team and autonomously.
