You'll manage end-to-end finance functions-from daily operations through to strategic reporting-while playing a key role in the commercial review of construction contracts. Key areas of responsibility include: Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Tax compliance, BAS, payroll, and end-of-month processes Reviewing contracts, variations, and claims in collaboration with project teams Providing commercial and financial insight to inform decision-making Ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations Liaising with auditors, external advisors, and relevant authorities What You'll Bring Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA qualified or near completion preferred) Strong financial acumen with previous experience in construction or a related sector Solid understanding of Australian tax law, payroll, and accounting compliance Familiarity with construction contracts and their commercial implications Comfortable with financial systems and a continuous improvement mindset Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills A hands-on, adaptable approach and a strong team ethic
