This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering functional requirements for both current and emerging use cases, with a strong focus on workflow and business process automation. You will work closely with business stakeholders and a specialist implementation partner to drive value delivery through structured collaboration and continuous improvement. Key duties and responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Lead engagement with business units to elicit, validate, and document functional requirements for current and future ServiceNow use cases. • Coordinate and facilitate discovery workshops, process mapping, and use case development in collaboration with internal SMEs. • Produce clear and structured artefacts including business process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and current/future state documentation. • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and the vendor’s business analysts and solution architects. • Ensure accurate translation of business needs into technical requirements, workflows, and platform configurations led by the vendor. • Maintain and manage a prioritised backlog of use cases, contributing to a phased and value- driven ServiceNow implementation roadmap. • Participate in sprint planning, UAT preparation and execution, change impact assessments, and training coordination. • Support governance forums, including reporting, and prioritisation reviews• Ensure consistency, traceability, and quality of requirements across the delivery lifecycle.• Assist business units in understanding change impacts and support end-user readiness activities. • Technical skills 3 30/07/2025 11:23:16 AEST About the team About the project About the organisation Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. Essential criteria 1. • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale ICT or transformation programs, ideally in government or highly regulated sectors. 2. • Demonstrated experience in iterative or agile delivery environments, with a strong focus on business process and workflow automation. 3. • Familiarity with ServiceNow or comparable platforms (e.g., Salesforce, PEGA, Dynamics). 4. • Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders. 5. • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, use case definition, and vendor coordination. 6. • Proficiency in documenting user stories, process flows, and functional requirements using tools like Visio or similar. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear and actionable deliverables.
