Join a large Australian owned iconic brand based in Koroit Be part of Australia's largest cold chain network with a supportive team Permanent role - Great Work-life balance About the Role Our Koroit site manufactures a range of dairy products including skimmed and full cream milk powders, buttermilk powders, milk protein concentrate, lactoferrin powder, retail milk powders, anhydrous milk fat, liquid cream and butter. The site produces a staggering 35 tonnes of lactoferrin extract annually! Working across Warehouse and Logistics this Warehouse Operator will see you managing product storage and movement of product within the DC with the use of manual handling equipment including forklifts – so a Forklift licence is essential to be considered for this position. You will also be responsible for undertaking stock takes and Chep counts, management of damaged stock and accurate recording of all waste, coupled with the loading and unloading of trailers. This position works a rotating roster of 2 days (6am to 6pm) then 2 days (6pm to 6am) – 4 days on – 4 days off. Responsibilities Manage product storage and movements with the use of Forklifts Making safety a priority and championing a safety culture with the team Collection of stock from production lines and storing appropriately Liaising with truck drivers and team members Rotation of stock and ensuring the DC is clean and free from spills and waste accumulation About you Warehousing logistics experience within an FMCG environment Forklift (LF) licence and experience is critical – Drive-in racking Can-do attitude, ability to work autonomously and a good team player who is a problem solver Reliable, quality of work mindset and has always has safety lens Ideally have some experience with MS Word and Excel for daily reporting Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
