Catering HQ is seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie or Commis Chef to join our amazing kitchen teams at Castle Hill RSL. We have opportunities in both our Restaurant and Function/Event Kitchen. THE BRAND Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. Duties & Responsibilities Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skillsDemonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planningStrong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishesAbility to contribute to menu planningImmaculate presentation and groomingAbility to handle large service numbersExceptional customer care and service skills and knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHSExcellent supportive and leadership skill setConfidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learnHonest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as neededImmaculate presentation and groomingShould be able to control and manage daily kitchen functions KEY QUALITIES A relevant qualification in Commercial CookeryAt least 2 years’ experience in a similar positionBe flexible with working hoursA team spirit, bright and positive demeanourThe team at Catering HQ work hard to create a safe and inclusive environment for all, and most importantly, we're all about creating a more sociable future – for our customers and for each other.
